José Theodore, NHL Goalie

José (Jo-say) Theodore (Thee-uh-dore) was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in 1994 and played with them until March of 2006, winning the Hart and Vezina Trophies in 2002. He spent two and a half seasons with the Colorado Avalanche. José signed with the Washington Capitals in July 2008 where he played the next two seasons. He was awarded the Masterton Trophy in 2010. He played the 2010-11 season with the Minnesota Wild, and then played 2 seasons with the Florida Panthers.

Will it be Phoenix?

I've been hearing José's name more and more in conjunction with Phoenix, since Bryzgalov is off to Philly. I'd be fine with that. If he's fine with that, I mean. I just want him to be happy.

Most likely goaltending option for the Phoenix Coyotes on July 1st will be Jose Theodore. Ray Emery, Pascal Leclaire and Josh Harding also options, but health has been a concern in the past for all 3. Tomas Vokoun is currently out of their price range, Dwayne Roloson will most likely be back in Tampa for a year, Mike Smith is too inconsistent and Marty Turco is no longer a solid starting goaltender.

Im gonna be selfish here: I hope its an Eastern team...so Im gonna be able to see him more often LOL.
On a not so selfish note: I hope he ends up on a team where he can be the number 1!!!! goalie. (He deserves it.)

Haha. That's why I want him with a Western team. They'd play in St. Louis at least 2 times. ;o)

But yes, I just want him on a team where he can show that he's still an awesome #1 goalie!!
