Poor guy looks tired. But oh so handsome. And I'd like to point out that the report from right after he signed that said he already had a house in Florida was not true. He addresses that here. His parents have a house there where they spend the winters. In fact, he said he has fond memories of playing against the Panthers, because his parents would usually come to the games. But José himself does not have a house there yet. He said they are looking into that.

OMFG!!! This is my favourite Jose interview ever!!
ReplyDeleteHaha! I agree that it's an awesome one. Is it how he looks or what he says that makes you like it so much?(I have to say the one I posted most recently...where he talks about Clemmensen and Jimmy Buffet has become my favorite I think...that adorable smile...)
ReplyDeleteHe is pretty Id admit that but I just LOVE LOVE how honest, intelligent and insightful he is in this interview. .... and I too watched Tsn on 1 July :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm always struck by how well-spoken and intelligent he is in interviews. He's really a joy to listen to (even if you can't see him ;o)
ReplyDeleteNow that I've had time to look back at all the interviews, I see what you mean about this one. It really was nice to hear him answer these questions.
ReplyDeleteHe never sounds rehearsed. He's always honest with interviewers and doesn't just say what they want to hear.
It was really nice to hear how special Florida seems to be to him (like the part about his parents coming to watch his games there when he was with Montreal.) It makes me even happier for him that he'll be finishing out his career there.
