Scott Clemmensen is getting his first regular season start for the Panthers this evening.
The Panthers will then travel to St. Louis for the Thursday game. And guess what, I'm going to be at that game!! 2 rows from the ice!! So excited!!
So Clemmensen got a shutout in his first start of the regular season. Things started out slow, with not many shots on goal in the first 2 periods by the Stars, but he did end up with 25 saves. And a shutout is a shuout, so good for him. Both José and he got shutouts in their first starts of the season. That's a good tandem!
José (Jo-say) Theodore (Thee-uh-dore) was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in 1994 and played with them until March of 2006, winning the Hart and Vezina Trophies in 2002. He spent two and a half seasons with the Colorado Avalanche. José signed with the Washington Capitals in July 2008 where he played the next two seasons. He was awarded the Masterton Trophy in 2010. He played the 2010-11 season with the Minnesota Wild, and then played 2 seasons with the Florida Panthers.

I love how in that picture he's definitely taking the spotlight by looking like a BAMF and I'm sure he's not even trying~
ReplyDeleteI know! It just comes easy for him. Haha.
