Gameday, Panthers vs. Bruins, W (6-2!)

The Panthers lead the Bruins after one period 1-0!! That feels so good. I've been really nervous about this game, and that's mainly because Boston has been struggling a bit, and I was afraid they'd come in breathing fire. But it was a relatively quiet period for José, as the D has been good in front of him. And he's made some good saves when called on (saved all 7 shots he faced.)

Most interesting point of the period to me was WHEN HE GOT A PENALTY CALLED ON HIM. ;o) You don't see that often. He played the puck when he was about an inch outside the trapezoid, so was called for that. But the Panthers were already on a PP, so then it was 4-on-4 for about a minute, ten they killed the remainder of the penalty, so it all worked out in the end. And it made for an exciting story.

Well that was a fun period!! After two, the Panthers lead 4-1!!!!! :o) And John Madden got his first goal of the season. So happy for that hard-working guy. José stopped 9 of 10 shots. I would be quite happy if the game ended up just like this. Big period coming up.

They did it!! They beat the Bruins, 6-2!!! One more goal squeaked past José in that last period, but he saved 24 of 26 tonight. He is really on a streak, and I couldn't be prouder.
