I post this screen capture from an interview that José did while with the Caps, just because I love the expression on his face. It makes me smile.
And here he was looking on during the fight at the Wild/Canucks game tonight. The Wild put a thumpin' on Vancouver. He's in the cap at the end of the bench. He will get some playing time either Thursday or Friday, according to Coach Richards. (Click on photo for larger view.)
José (Jo-say) Theodore (Thee-uh-dore) was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in 1994 and played with them until March of 2006, winning the Hart and Vezina Trophies in 2002. He spent two and a half seasons with the Colorado Avalanche. José signed with the Washington Capitals in July 2008 where he played the next two seasons. He was awarded the Masterton Trophy in 2010. He played the 2010-11 season with the Minnesota Wild, and then played 2 seasons with the Florida Panthers.
OMG that face has me laughing. I can't stop looking at it! I was watching the Wild game last night hoping to get a peek at Jose, but saw the Canuck go after a fan in the stands instead. What a crazy game that was.
ReplyDeleteIt makes me giggle too.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I signed up for the NHL Live thing where I can watch games online, and I was watching the Wild game on and off last night. I saw the fight and the fan "incident." Not good.
I couldn't believe how much they were scoring. It was crazy! Crazy good, I mean.
