And here is Theo's Movember Week 4 photo!!
José (Jo-say) Theodore (Thee-uh-dore) was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in 1994 and played with them until March of 2006, winning the Hart and Vezina Trophies in 2002. He spent two and a half seasons with the Colorado Avalanche. José signed with the Washington Capitals in July 2008 where he played the next two seasons. He was awarded the Masterton Trophy in 2010. He played the 2010-11 season with the Minnesota Wild, and then played 2 seasons with the Florida Panthers.
looks like when my brother decides to grow a moustache lol not sure i like the look
ReplyDeleteI probably won't leave my comment up here for long, because I don't want it to be misconstrued. Because I'm totally just joking when I say this...but I think having a moustache only makes him look like a Latino porn star. ;o) But I mean that in the best way possible! And he's still adorable, of course!
ReplyDeletehahaha you actually nailed it lol just what i thought in the beginning.
ReplyDeletehey, go take a look at my drawings. i put one up with a link to your blog :)
ReplyDeleteOh wow!!! That is so awesome!! You did such a wonderful job!! I really love it! And thanks for the link!! (I know I was a little heavy on the exclamation points there, but I'm really excited! ;o) I'll be happy to make a post about your art if you ever want me to. But if you aren't comfortable having a whole post about it (don't want that much publicity, etc) then that's fine too. Just let me know if you would like me to. Whenver.
ReplyDeleteI actually wouldn't mind the publicity, but probably after I've uploaded some more.
ReplyDeleteSo, do you follow any other team besides the Wild? I'm watching the Caps right now, and it's like watching a puppy getting kicked. That poor kid goalie must be feeling awful because their D sucks ):
Sure thing. You can just let me know.
ReplyDeleteI don't root for any other team, but I just try to follow the NHL as a whole, see what's going on, standings, etc. I'm pretty new to hockey (since the Olympics.) I also have a goalies blog and this post kind of explains my interest in hockey and goalies:

After becoming interested in goalies, I happened on stories about Theo and was hooked. I just found him to be such a fascinating, interesting and wonderful guy. And the rest is history. ;o)
I'm actually a goalie myself, but on field hockey rather than ice because there isn't really much ice to play here anyway lol been a Penguins fan since I was about 7 (the time I started playing), but I got seriously hooked onto the NHL when I lived in the US a couple years ago.
ReplyDeleteI actually became a fan of Theo because I was starting to get more into the Caps since I was intrigued by Ovechkin (with all the rivalry with Crosby), and that's how I came across his story, and it was pretty much like it was for you. He seems like a nice guy, and on top of it he's a great goalie. It broke my heart when the Caps didn't sign him for this season, but that's hockey I guess, and now he's being his awesome self in Minnesota, which I'm actually enjoying :)
And I absolutely love goalie masks too!! I want to get a mask of my own for field (i wear my uni's) so i can get it customized, but they're too expensive. I'm saving up for that! :) If I get that, I'll probably go with some kind of tribute to Theo... probably the LX. :)
Very cool story. I'm sure there aren't many hockey fans in Chile.
ReplyDeleteIf you ever get your own mask, a Theo tribute would be so neat!! You'll have to share.
