Donations Can Still Be Made to Saves For Kids

Even though José is not with the Capitals anymore, people can still donate money to the NICU of the Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. in memory of his son, Chace, who spent his short life there in the Summer of 2009. I e-mailed the hospital and received this response:

Thank you so much for your email and your interest in supporting José Théodore’s Saves for Kids charity. Through the program, José, the Washington Capitals, and fans have all made a significant difference in the lives of the patients and have made a large impact on our NICU.

Yes, we are still accepting donations to support his program. You can send a check to:

Please make the check payable to Children’s National Medical Center and include on the memo line or in an attached note that the money is to go towards Saves for Kids. We will make sure that it then goes to the NICU.
