Coyotes at Wild, 12/1/10 (Final 4-2, 4th was an empty-netter)

The game is underway. First commercial break here. Wild had quite a few minutes of PP so far and couldn't score. Frack.

This is the first time I've seen José wearing his new mask with the red jersey. Looks really sharp!!

1-0 at the end of 1st period. That goal was not Theo's fault. 17 shots on goal in the 1st and the Wild had 9 turnovers!!!

Theo faced 12 more shots in that period. One got through. It's 2-0 after 2 periods, and he's seen 29 shots. The Wild have had 25 shots, but haven't scored. They haven't made good shots, they just do not have it together. Just skating around out there, turning the puck over.

Ok, game over. 4-2 is the final. Theo drops to 3-4. He saved 32 of 35 shots tonight. The last goal by the Coyotes was on an empty net.
So disappointing again. Great game by Theo though!!

  1. It makes me sad to see him wearing red and it not being the ROCK THE RED kinda red. GO THEO! You're awesome, nevermind where you're playing!

  2. Did you see that save on the breakaway? I swear I had started crying already, haha.

  3. I know! That was scary!! But it ended up being SWEET!!! I'm so irritated I can't use my Twitter right now!!!

  4. I'm irritated because this feed fucking sucks. It keeps lagging and getting stuck in the most exciting parts. It got stuck in the middle of the breakaway and I got to see Theo sprawled inside the net and with no sound and I thought they had scored. Good thing they didn't.

  5. Oh, that sucks!!! Sorry!! I do appreciate my GameCenter Live. Expensive, but pretty nice. It does get skitchy now and then, but not too bad.

  6. I'm seriously considering using the "just for emergencies" credit card my dad gave me. I mean, not being able to see our favourite goalie does sound like a big emergency, riiiight?

  7. The Coyotes scored and my stream hasn't shown it yet. That just shows how much lag there is going on. lol

  8. Yeah, it was not his fault though. Suck monkies!

  9. Lmao, I still have over 50 seconds left in the 1st period.

  10. Wow! I am usually about 1 minute behind, but you're way behind!

  11. Yeah, it's insane. And I have this mental thing that I just have to have the Event Summary window open to keep track of stats, so usually I know there's been a goal before it actually happens... and I suffer until it happens, being like "oh, it must be know.... wait no... that's a scoring chance... maybe... fuck, there it is."

  12. That's what usually happens with me and Twitter. Russo will tweet that they were scored on, and I won't see it for about a minute. It's brutal waiting...my Twitter worked for a minute, and now won't load new tweets again. Y U NOOOO!!

  13. Oh goodness, I give up. My 2nd period hasn't even started yet. I guess I'll be sticking to highlight reels.

  14. Oh, that's terrible!! FSN was better the other night, right? Hopefully next Theo start will be better for you...and him. They're lucky he's made so many great saves. Score could be much worse than 2-0.

  15. Sadly, there's only so much a goalie can do behind such a team/coach. I'm afraid they'll end up hanging Theo to dry just like they did Backs.

  16. So, how is it going? Did the Wild take their customary 2nd period nap? lol I'm watching the Caps meanwhile.

  17. Yeah, I just added a little update from the 2nd period. It wasn't a good period. They're just skating around, turning the puck over, not doing anything with it. Their shots on goal are soft and pathetic.

  18. I might sound mean, but I had forgotten how exciting it is to watch a team that can produce good offense play. I just wish it was Theo in net and not Varly... I mean, Varly's good, but he's just not Theo.

  19. Nope, he's not. There is no other Theo. ;o) I really wish he could be with a good offensive team too. It would be so great to see. I wasn't watching hockey last season, so I missed out on his time with the Caps. :(

  20. The Caps are just so exciting to watch. Not only Ovie, but the whole team. They're full of young talent, and have guys who can score all the way down to the 4th line

  21. Cullen scored! I just saw on the Event Summary, lol!

  22. Yeah! I didn't know how to react. There had been 5 scoreless periods until that goal.
